Mission Critical Accounting and Advisory was founded by two operators who have spent their careers inside finance functions that couldn't afford to fail — through rapid growth, acquisitions, integrations and successful exits.

Ben is a CPA and seasoned executive with over three decades of accounting and finance experience. Ben has led finance organizations for the past 20+ years, including CFO roles at PE-backed and growth-stage companies. He has deep expertise in M&A, ERP implementations and building finance functions that scale. Rich brings 16+ years of finance leadership inside critical power and specialty services, including building financial infrastructure and leading the sell-side transaction that resulted in the acquisition of Quality Uptime Services by ABM Industries.

Ben Caiola, CPA

Co-Founder · CFO Leadership & M&A

Ben is a CPA with 20+ years as a senior executive helping companies scale, professionalize and create long-term value. He has served as CFO and Controller for PE-backed and growth-stage businesses, leading finance through rapid expansion, acquisition integrations and transaction processes — including as CFO of a national critical-power service organization.

Ben graduated magna cum laude from New York University's Stern School of Business with bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Economics.

Rich Hill, MBA

Co-Founder · Critical Power & Specialty Services

Rich brings 16+ years of finance leadership inside critical power and electrical contracting. He built financial infrastructure at Quality Uptime Services, led multiple buy-side acquisitions, owned the sell-side process resulting in the company's acquisition by ABM Industries and served as FP&A Director at ABM post-transaction.

Rich graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He also received a master's in business administration with a concentration in Public Accounting from Iona College.
